Hey all -- thoughts on what to do about this question? The question is unclear, rambly, and on hold; the one answer comes across as kind of a rant and has led to an argument in comments (some of which I've already cleaned up). At the current voting I think the question will auto-delete in about 10 days. Should any further action be taken now?

Q: Why were there so many killings by Jews in the Old Testament?

DerfderAs a young kid I always hated the passages from Old Testament when the Jewish tribes wandered in the Middle East and the Jews were killing other tribes in the name of God. Is it wrong that I am ashamed as a Jew of these actions and that I hate God for being such a bad person. I hate the fact that...

I don't get it. This question raises objections to a missionary argument, and asks... what? The only question feasible AFAICT is asking for a refutation of those objections. Do you want us, then, to defend missionary arguments? on a Judaism site? — msh210 ♦ 2 mins ago
