I've been reading (or at least trying to read) A Geometry of Music. It's very interesting, but not the easiest to digest the given information.

@Dom ???

Dom
@Patrx2 Someone down voted like 20 of my posts within a minute.

@Dom I'd flag that for Rory, I think. It's one thing to disagree with you on a topic; it's another to do this on a lot of posts because the idiot doesn't like you.

Dom
It's already fixed.

Cool.

I was just kind of surprised by it because I haven't been too active recently.

4:53 AM
Yeah, that is strange.

Dom
The last post I had before the rondo question today was the 11th.
and a few comments, but nothing major
I got this message when an hour ago: +26 1 hour ago reversal Voting corrected (learn more)
The learn more takes me here:

@Dom Yeah, I've been off a similar amount of time, but looking in occasionally, and I wasn't seeing you. So, they caught the thing algorithmically, eh?

Dom
Yep

@Dom Going to ask any questions on this book? I won't answer - don't know the book and am generally wary of "one size fits all" theories - but it could make for an interesting topic or two. I haven't been that active recently because the questions haven't been catching my fancy.

I thought people would be aware that there's all kinds of things in place to catch bad behaviour. Good that it works in any case.

@Patrx2 I plan to ask questions related to it eventually. The only problem is it jumps from typical ideas like chords and voice leading into building harmony lattices without much of a transition and I would like to ask questions about what's in the middle, but it's kind of hard to word especially if people don't know the topic.
Like I want to ask questions to get more information about how to use Avanta's lattice to construct chord progressions and the book touches on it, but not enough to understand exactly if that is even the purpose of it (which the book seems to imply).
