Q: Public database of bibtex entires of LaTeX packages

When I want to cite a research paper, I typically look up the respective bibtex entry in some online catalogue (such as DBLP or the ACM and IEEE digital libraries for computer science). The quality of the entries is not always great, but at least a good start. Now I am in the situation that I am...

@RafaelWörner I thought you were going to ask about the unanswered part, the alignment of the number at the bottom (which is harder by the way) alignment of tabular or minipage with the number at the top are the same you just want top alignment ([t])

If PDF uses big point (bp) and TeX uses point (pt), why don't we deprecate pt and just use bp to avoid the loss due to rounding in the conversion?

@Ohmyghost and there isn't really any loss due to rounding error, any more than if you set a margin in in or cm or anything else there is a scaling factor to do but as long as you use it the accuracy is likely to be far greater than any usable viewing resolution
