@CharlesStewart As it supports XHTML+MathML+SVG, I have a fairly convoluted route that would do it. I have a script that converts (a subset of) LaTeX to Markdown+iTeX. Then maruku (ruby version of Markdown) can convert Markdown+iTeX to XHTML+MathML. My script could do the conversion in one go, though, with a bit of work.
@CharlesStewart And I'm more interested in knowing if there are any Epub 3-capable readers. Then I could export the entire nLab as a single ebook for reading on the way to conferences.
@MartinTapankov iTex is a modified, Latex-based notations for maths designed for the web and based on Webtex. I put up a couple of relevant links in an answer: tex.stackexchange.com/questions/4223/…
@AndrewStacey Epub 3 is supposed to "degrade gracefully" to Epub 2, so if you could find an Epub 2 reader that supported Mathml, then there's a cat's chance in hell that that will work for you. Otherwise, wait, wait, and wait until an Epub 3 reader comes along. Good news: Epub 3 drops some features of Epub2 that no reader supported, so there maybe some incentive to support Epub 3 so that they can say "fully compatible", which I think no handheld reader could say of Epub 2.
@JosephWright Is there a polite way to tell xport to calm down her editing spree? It's not that the edits are bad, but they are bumping up old questions for not much gain.
@lockstep I'm not sure that would count as polite (Or educational.) And the urge to approve edits is just too strong. I agree they are appropriate, but editing sprees are no better than retagging sprees. Of course I'm talking to the wrong person on that count :-).
@AlanMunn I also had to learn the hard way how many retags per front page are deemed appropriate by other users of this site. ;-)
@JosephWright BTW, as I somehow can't flag my own questions/answers: This retagging proposal is ripe for moderator action (and won't affect the front page at all).
@AlanMunn It is very nice that she fills in the Edit Summary. In one of those I see "Fixing some minor typos". This is something one could point out: fixing minor stuff in old posts is counterproductive as it hides new posts too quickly. Only substantial edits should be approved ... :-)
@HendrikVogt The solution to the minor edit problem is to be able to flag minor edits, but the proposal keeps getting voted down. See meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/26483/…
BTW, did I mention that receiving reputation from tag wiki edits is also rather addictive? (+2, +2, +2, ...) I'm longing for the day when I hit 20k and my ability to get reputation that way is gone.
New version just uploaded. I've put a fair few anchors on the nodes now, and there's also a separate "boundary circle" shape. That is a separate node, but is also placed at each boundary circle on the cobordisms so that you can reference points on the boundary circle (see documentation, and do ask for clarifications as I'm sure the documentation could be vastly improved!). Haven't fixed that bug, though I did reproduce it. I think it's because there's a hidden use of the boundary separation (ie between the boundary circles) in there which you aren't spotting because it's just a cylinder. Pl…
