Q: Any opinions on when/if to pierce girl's ears at young age?

Some people like piercing girls' ears at a very young age so that they "aren't old enough to be afraid of the pain", while others think that the child should have the option to choose to do this, even if they are a young age that is, arguably, easily manipulated by society to believe that ear pie...

Is this too subjective?

This exchange site is almost expected to be subjective I think.

I don't feel that to be too subjective. It explicitly asks for opinions. It might be a suitable candidate for a community wiki. It doesn't sound like shopping recommendations either.
