lol, you paid more attention than I did.

I just saw that there was a picture and went, "Nope."

I included a pic on a SciFi.SE question of mine about Iron Man 2, to help identify the scene in question (since there aren't scripts of it easily available online, unlike most of the Marvel movies). It was removed almost immediately by the guy who answered the question.

Interesting; I originally joined GIS.SE and there are a lot of images posted on there (because otherwise explaining exactly how my polygon-to-raster conversion looks wrong is downright impossible)

I get mine wasn't directly relevant. I just threw it in there, hoping it would make people go "Oh, that scene" without me having to provide the time marker or more detail.

But the answerer didn't need it, apparently. Had a good answer up very quickly.

Spell checker keeps telling me "asker" and "answerer" aren't words! Harrumph!

Ha!

On the topic of this answer by @JohnEricson, parenting.stackexchange.com/questions/20283/… I think this video about shoes (and the ingenuity used to do something less harmful, and even positive, for fun) is applicable: youtube.com/watch?v=naqX9iYE0V0
I meant @JonEricson, rather.

"I got a shot today."
"You got SHOT?"
"No, I got A SHOT."
"Oh, you got SHOT."
"No... _A_ SHOT."
"Yeah you got shot."
Grammar, toddler, grammar. It matters.

@Erica You found it?! Google image reverse?

@anongoodnurse Yes! I thought it was a long shot, but there it was :)

Nicely done! The proof is there, now. But for knowing, even, that it was a possible troller, it still was hilarious (I laughed out loud, honestly) and if one is going to troll, might as well make it benign!

I want to answer this question, but I think it frustrates me too much: parenting.stackexchange.com/questions/20298/…

I know there are people out there that really feel that way. "Why should I bother teaching my child?"

I'm also having difficulty finding good studies on the subject. There are many studies on second language acquisition, but nothing that seems compare early lexical development to late or adult lexical development.
