6:48 AM
Salam, i haven't seen your messages yesterday!
Well it is sinful and some may even consider it as blasphemy... if the person was aware that the Prophet (pbuh) did so!
if not on the other hand marrying inside the family isn't really what Allah want us to do as he asks us to get to know each other legacy.quran.com/49/13
this means marrying inside the family is accepted as far as the person isn't haram to marry but it's rather better to seek marriage outside the family

2 hours later…
8:49 AM
what if those muslims see themselves being repelled by the act but after they remember about the prophet they are no longer repelled? Is that still blasphemy?

9:42 AM
hm... if they repent i guess no

10:30 AM
i see.
when a person repents from any sin should he go into details of what he did? For example, if he drinks alchohol should he talk about every single incident he remembers where he drunk alchohol or should he just say "Oh Allah, forgive me I drunk alchohol"?

Well i guess i already gave an answer on that. I mean repentance in first place should be seen as a cleaning...
this means cleaning oneself from a sin
So what ever make you feel better -in my opinion- could be a prat of a good and sincer repentance

hmm.

that means at the end you should have a feeling of release
And Allah knows best
so maybe you may feel talking about it may release you

So if a person just regrets and resolves to never come back to the sin what he did and doesn't ask for forgiveness can he be said to have repented

How can he regeret and don't ask for forgiveness?
i think this is a major part of repentance!

10:38 AM
Ok. I understand.

feel bad because a sin
and make dua for forgivness
so whether you mention the sin in the dua or your regretting is up to you
but as i said i have no clear evidence here and that's my opinion only!

ok. if i want to make a social network and i know i will have to put in a slot where people will put their profile pictures can i do that even if i know that some users will not do so in an Islamic way and not putting this slot is certain to cause loss?

I don't get what you mean...

when we program a social networking site such as say snapchat we may allow our users to insert a profile picture. Some people may choose to insert pictures where they don't wear hijabs. Am i permitted to allow them to insert this picture if i know that no one will join the network unless i do this?

hm... well the point is: It is their choice to post a picture or not and what kind of picture not yours
If it was your intention to program this site to see woman without hijab then of course you should repent and not realize what you planed to do!
you can not bear the sin of any other person

10:50 AM
true but shouldn't i as a muslim stop other muslims from sinning to the best of my ability and not give them that choice from myself?

unless you had a sinful intention
yes but all you can do is give advise
if they don't follow you might have done your best ...

i'm sorry. I have to leave now. we'll talk later
Assalamualaikum

just a hadith to show what i meant
