I have a peculiar problem copy/pasting content from one program to another. When I copy text from Pages or a PDF, containing Umlauts (mostly ü), and paste them into another program (like a code editor), The Umlauts are often "split up", meaning that instead of the ü, and u and the dots are pasted as separate characters. I don't even know where to start with google-fu, so I am hoping someone has some experience with that particular problem.
