@bmike I only have it on my iPad 3 that I won here a few years ago. So far, there is very little difference from a "just use it and spot the difference" point of view. You have to hunt down the changes.

without touch ID, the only real difference I have noted is extentions, but without a TouchID button for the 1Password extention (side note, 1password Yosemite test build still doesn't like icloud drive) it's still a pain to use it (I have a ridiculous master password to type in...) although the workflow is awesome in it's results, just not in application for those without biometrics.

I tried an OTA upgrade, it wasn't having any of it. So I went via iTunes - first time, no delays, no slow downloads, no activation waits - easy.

If anyone has a 16 GB or 64 GB iPhone 5, please fill in the details after you upgrade to iOS 8 -

@stuffe nope -- because based on everyone complaining about it I decided to skip even turning it on. We share an Apple ID for purchases -- works for us.
