@kalina TO be more clear, the issue isn't specifically the volatility of the question. The issue is that in the case of this specific question, the volatility means that the answer will not be meaningful or useful, even if it happens to be accurate this morning.
Speaking of which, updating all those Dwarf Fortress questions will be fun when the next version will (eventually) come out, over a year after the previous one.
@LessPop_MoreFizz People suggested showing all close reasons as part of the close system overhaul. I have no idea if that's going in with the changes or when that would happen though, IMO it should show them separately
It's like "We've found a list of all the things that are wrong with your question and you're a terrible human being for even thinking of asking here please delete your account immediately"
I can see people trying to compete to make the biggest close box possible by choosing 5 different close reasons on purpose.
@BenBrocka Yeh, I just hope they don't end up having a long list of separate close reasons where you can only pick one - while, say, three different ones apply.
@FEichinger IT sounded like it would basically be "sub" close reasons. So you pick NARQ then pick the specific reason. I don't know if it would let you pick/display multiple ones though. They were classic Stack Exchange Vague about the whole thing
Something related to closing will change someway at some point in time
@FEichinger "This question is not a good fit for a Q&A site and it is difficult to tell what is being asked here and it is unlikely to help future visitors and it's already been answered here."
I wish they'd at least start rolling stuff out. Like the "on hold" change. I don't know if it'll make a difference but it might make people freak out less and realize it's a temporary state (sometimes)
In Bad Piggies there are two different "soda bottles" which propel a craft: one black and one green, as seen here:
What is the difference between the two bottles? Unlike other parts such as engines they both appear to have the same power.
my question is quite simple :
When crafting bracers, amulets, pauldrons or gauntlets for a given stat (int, str, dex or vitality) : the roll of the given stat is for example 201-230 for pauldron. How come you can roll 300+ on the stat then ?
Same question for some legendaries like The dead man's ...
@FEichinger I'm just saying that the more wall of text you present to a user when closing the more ground you give them to fight back while ignoring the other four elephants in the room
@badp As I said, I don't think it should've been closed at all. But if the Q were, say "What do pro players think?" rather than W/L, both time-sensitive and not tangible would apply.
"Hey guys we're gonna revamp Area 51, make a Meta.Stack Exchange and separate it from MSO, and WOAH HEY look let's talk about sarcastic comments for 4 months"
@badp Currently, yes. But that assumes the user actually reads the comments rather than going crazy over the close reason. And reworking the close reasons to support that would solve a lot of these problems.
I want to restart the game like I never played it before. This is because i want the farmer to give me the auric amulet and i want to play the game over. Even though i deleted all my characters and saves I still see the cow instead of farmer when i start the game over at normal difficulty.
On to...
What are we going to do, determine that @Sterno used the wrong close reason and reopen the question with 4 close votes so that somebody else can apply the right close reason and re-close it?
Just the... implications and the overcomplication that this creates makes my brain scream
Diablo: Hellfire is an expansion pack that Sierra On-Line produced for the video game Diablo. It was released in 1997 and developed by Synergistic Software, a Sierra division. Hellfire is the only authorized expansion pack released for Diablo. Blizzard Entertainment has never released a first-party expansion for Diablo. The original game was later re-released alongside Hellfire in 1998 in a bundle called Diablo + Hellfire.
Overview
Hellfire is a single-player expansion to Diablo. While there are some multi-player modes that can be unlocked, Hellfire is not playable on Blizzard's onlin...
See, I have a problem with poor English on SO (and, for that matter, also language sites). Programming is very English-centric, one should at least be capable of "understandable" English.
@kalina As I said, mocking shouldn't happen, but if a question is not understandable, downvotes and comments asking for it to be phrased better are fully fine.
I had a bestseller and I had the option to move to an office but I wanted to wait (please don't ask). But how can I move now(!) to the office? I can't find any option - neither in the pop up or in the main menu.
Edit: The question pop ups just a little bit later again. Stupid question is answere...

@LessPop_MoreFizz ... but then, isn't the site as a whole a waste of space then? The answer has a good chance of being relevant to only a handful of people - whoever has them in their family tree. It'll be interesting to the small percentage of those who care about their genealogy.
@MartinSojka Because the site in itself is about that, so it actually - relative to the site - isn't localized at all. Relative to the network it sure is.
