@RavenDreamer I do believe that if they are not specific enough, they should be closed. I cast a lot of close votes on those I don't consider "worthy". And I do accept that they are an open window for less-than-stellar questions. Many of them are good questions though, and when answering them I really feel I'm helping some other gamer connect with happy childhood memory. That makes me feel grand.

@RavenDreamer imagine someone asks a civ 5 question, and I see an answer I think is good and upvote it. But then the OP revises the question to say "no, I can't do this, because of X". Then it might be time to reconsider my vote, if the answer no longer applies. But until then, I'm perfectly within my comfort zone assessing the answer according to the question and my familiarity with the game.
