I guess I can see why some people think the game is short. It just took me about 10 minutes in this enemy area to find where I need to go. I then spent another hour wandering around a bunch of that base I didn't need to be in, knocking guys out and reading emails

for whatever reason the building to increase resource limit is the hardest one to build, because it needs items that can only be got from late game exploration missions and the exploration missions grant items at a very low chance and exploration level doesn't seem to influence it

hm, I seem to be much farther in the game than you are, but I only got demon this morning

I have built and upgraded literally everything that I could, so now I have to explore areas over and over and over again until I get items for upgrades

and I don't even have an area unlocked that would drop the item for storage upgrade

and every time I explore something it just says "You didn't find any parts, but here's some resources you can't even have, because you're already at the limit"

so I'm just imagining the explorers bringing back resources and throwing them into this giant pile with a sign "Do not touch - garbage" next to it

@KutuluMike that took a long time as well, but at least I had the area that drops the item for a while

also, the 400 upgrade was so useless, because most things went from needing 2xx resource to 420

Q: What all triggers the game to save?

Obviously, you can save the game manually at points of interest, and it saves for you whenever you get out of your ship. I also found out that it saves after you die (gee, thanks). Are there any other events that cause the game to be saved?

Q: Can I track how many trees I have planted?

I know if I plant 100+ trees on Arrrbor Day, I get better rewards the next Arrrbor Day for whatever tree type I planted. Is there any way to track this, short of just keeping a count in my head?

Q: Will other players be able to see my discoveries if I upload them while connection is lost?

There's an indicator in the lower left corner of the discoveries menu that shows if you are currently connected to the servers or not. If I upload my discoveries while it says I'm not connected, will it upload them for other players to see once it gains a connection again?
