If you buy the trinket, the game tells you what drink you're supposed to prepare when prompted

It doesn't give away all of the answers (sometimes the hint you'll get will still be "The usual" or "Something like tea") but it does help especially if you are replaying and don't want to sit through the whole dialogue again
