@badp There are several digital things I have in games that are worth a decent bit on their respective markets, but I keep them because I know because of one of the following or a combination thereof: I have an attachment to the item and I wouldn't want to give it up for however much money or I know that in the future, were I to want the item again, market volatility makes it so I know I wouldn't want to shell out the cash to reacquire it.

@badp If you have no attachment to the item one way or another, I would say go with option 3 if you're fairly sure you can make a profit.
