I've been historically happy with a $10 wired keyboard and a $15 wired mouse

just so long as they're wired - and optical/laser

I love laser mice.

The only thing that gives it a fit is if a hair manages to find its way onto the receptacle.

That said, I still don't know if I want to play D3, or begin model disassembly for painting and detailing.

I salvaged a finnish Dell keyboard with rather silent keystrokes and a Logitech G400s from a "good for a loving house" bin and those also have made me happy

it does have 2 buttons on the left side tho, so if you're a leftie and using it with left hand, it's probably not ideal
