Q: How do i make redstone activate when in a bed?

OK, So, I'm building a map but i need to know the simple command on how to make redstone activate after you wake up after sleeping in a bed/when you sleep in a bed.

the only VR experience that works well is games that have you seated, afaik

Vive works really well standing

and any changes in fps are very bad

@KevinvanderVelden yeah, but I mean, there are no full big games that allow you to walk around a lot

what I meant is that sitting works well because you're sitting both in-game and irl

whereas standing, well, you have to be standing irl as well and that means you also have to walk yourself

Fantastic contraptions, surgeon simulator vr, tilt brush, trials on tattooine

and unelss you have a unidirectional treadmill, you can't walk very far :P

I'd love to have the Vive, but that's like, almost a month salary for me

hopefully they start mass producing them and dropping the price a lot

plus, from what I've read and heard it seems that the Sony PSVR is actually the most comfortable headset right now and has solved a few issues both Oculus and Vive have

oh man I just realized that I went to istanbul and didn't even visit VR first lab

so hopefully Vive and Oculus release a new version of their headsets that address all the problems

@Chippies Yeah unless something like the Daydream turns out to be pretty cheap I'm still waiting it out for wave 2 of VR.

@RedRiderX isn't Daydream the google VR? I doubt that's going to be for PC's

Though other than power (obviously) there doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference between daydream and the current oculus.

The head tracking of course is unknown

PSVR sounds vaguely interesting but Sony has a terrible track record with peripherals and I'm not convinced it'll have any staying power

And I don't think the daydream will have wands, but the oculus doesn't have them right now either.

The only thing PSVR has going for it is reliabillity (no messing around with hardware configurations) and bit more comfort

@twobugs one major complaint my colleague has is that whenever something blocks the path between you and the PS Camera, the headset goes crazy and it's vomit-inducing

and as it unblocks it quickly moves you to where you should be

and they're supposed to be positioned on opposite sides

Vive can work with one of the cameras/lanterns/whatever-they-are blocked, but PS VR only has one

I'm not 100% sure, but I would also assume that if you turn away from the camera, you could easily block the controllers with your own body

Well assuming you have space, and it's not like that doesn't take time. And it only works on linear games (because open world games basically can't section off content to load in order)
