Q: I've been hacked!

Some guy (or girl) hacked me in geometry dash! I woke up to check G.D. and I noticed most of my posts were gone, and There was a new one, posted around mid-night, that said "Hacked"! I went to load my data and it said "Sync failed please try again" so I refresh my login, and it says "Login failed...

I was screwing around with version control and that's what deleted my two weeks of work originally.

@Yuuki commit more often. I don't like to have anything more than a few hours worth of changes uncommited. It's hard to lose commited changes, but uncommited ones aren't well protected

git is nice in that you can also squash previous commits before pushing to the shared repo

@MadScientist Yeah, they really need to teach more source control. I was still fuzzy on the difference between committing and pushing.

But as long as I don't push this branch, no one should see it, right?

Given that I'm working only in test folders that I create, I shouldn't be running into any merge conflicts.

@Yuuki If you're on the same branch, git pull --rebase. Otherwise you just merge the branch once you're ready

@MadScientist Merge master into my branch? Because, IIRC, I shouldn't ever be merging my branch into master until I start working on more meaningful stuff.

@Yuuki Merge your branch into master. (there are endless variations of git workflows, so I'm making some assumptions here). But typically you develop a larger feature on a separate branch, and then merge once it is finished

Prices are still rising despite the slow-down due to the oil/gas bust.

After I installed a Diablo 3 Reaper of souls expansion, I created a new character and decided to restart from the beginning. But my character is not getting any damage and can not die. Anybody knows why? It renders game very easy and boring...

And as I understand (about the two incidents I heard about), one involved a guy trying to shift blame when autopilot wasn't actually running, and the other involved the driver not paying attention to the road when they should have been (and a very difficult to see obstacle).
