Part of what made the telescope so necessary was that the Tower monsters were randomized and you needed to know what combat items to farm to cut down on turns used.

Now, the Tower Monsters are fixed.

Not really. The art assets in the Galaxy games at least were already very high quality and in a very polished art style. They'd look fine with some upscaling and AA.

Metroid Prime would take more work, I think, given the more realistic art style they went with.

Gunlances are very awesome, but I feel like the playstyle has stagnated a bit. They haven't really gotten anything new in ages

You want to go balls out so you can charge up your blade, but after that is playing largely defensively because your guard points do a surprising amount of damage.
