Also, flags are there for people to be able to anonymously state they have issues with content. Yes, sometimes there are issues with them being misused, but we need to assume good faith.

Rather than assume that this is some pattern of someone out to get you, instead consider that there may actually be a problem with the content flagged. I can't see the post, but from what I can gather, I probably would have validated that flag.

@GnomeSlice Honestly, it's best to keep quiet about casting flags. Revealing that you've used them turns the conversation from one about whether the content was appropriate or not to one about who did what and why. Flags are anonymous for a reason.
