English is the ultimate mutt language, and it's what makes it so versatile and powerful and great, but it's also what makes it so difficult to identify consistent rules for, compared to other languages.

Especially for basic things like orthography and pronunciation.

Before you even consider forming an institution like the Académie française, you need to excise a large part of what we already consider "English".
