Bother it all. GTX 980 is a high-end GPU. That means mid-range (read 750Ti) won't drop in price. Curses!

Yes, in OP -- the GTX 760 will drop to $220 ish. Pretty noteworthy. 770 - 780 Ti will be discontinued.

No news on the 750 Ti. Probably not until a new low-end/mid-range card is on the market.

Like I said, I was basing it off skimming what other people were over-hyping about. now that I've looked at the stuff on my own, it's not as great as they were making it out to be

980 is a different card, but specs wise it's not even competing with 780ti

within half/full year they will release a 980ti which will be ~10% faster than 780ti
