On Spotify you can listen to a large library of music, but you either pay monthly or put up with ads and (later on) monthly limits

Google Play Music All Access doesn't have a free tier and its library is smaller, but you can add your own tracks to it.

You can still use Google Play Music for free, but then you only have your own tracks and the ones you buy from the service.

(It can still make sense, if you have more music and obtain it faster than it's practical to keep all of your devices synced.)

The main feature of both is a "radio" service

Mobile broadband has gone through way too many iterations.

And every iteration needs new networking hardware.

Which means new towers, which means new sites, which means lots and lots of money.

And because those towers are hella expensive, network providers will often only build those towers in highly populated areas.

Which leads to a huge mismatch between rural and urban coverage.

Germany tried to offset that with a binding agreement that would force our providers to develop LTE in rural areas first ...

And one company weaseled its way out with a technicality by waiting for the other companies to provide the coverage, so they could then spearhead the urban development.

In The Meat Business, Rosie hides in the freezer. If he gets locked in, how can I get him out on ios? I've seen online the keys to press on PC or Playstation but don't see any way via iPad. The online ios walkthrough I saw had CJ kill the guards before Rosie was locked in.

Anyway, where I was going with this is that mobile broadband is expensive because the tech is too fresh and too expensive.

If there wasn't new tech every year or two, it wouldn't be nearly as expensive.

But the tech lifetime is so short, companies need to cash in as soon as possible, and need to offset a huge cost within just a few months, maybe years.

Q: No achievements in Metro 2033 Redux

I've been playing through Metro 2033: Redux on the Metro Redux bundle and haven't unlocked any achievements. By the by, if any of you are ever in the vicinity of West Texas, you should definitely check out the McDonald Observatory. Doubly so if it's in the winter.

The view is absolutely gorgeous. And for a measly $10, there's a star party where they do a sort of guided tour thing of the night sky and let you look through their high-grade telescopes (I saw Saturn).
