I detest and loath the legacy crap code that I still have to deal with in one of our Linux apps. It effectively means I have to write C code in a C++ application. We already have a better alternative that would be easy to integrate with the existing code, but we're constrained on budget and time and ability to properly test such a change so the crap legacy code remains.
So I've been going in and out of this conversation, but what I got from it is that @kalina is now in a band that dresses as ponies and makes music that, if we heard it, would make our heads explode. And Brits have silly words for sandwiches
@JasonBerkan bands are for people with guitars. If you don't have guitars you're a group, unless there's two of you, in which case you're a duo (in certain circumstances)
@badp the spaces involved are so small that any oil in the way of whatever you're doing will just be pushed out of the way if you (for example) try to add more RAM
