He makes up for it by typing with his tongue though. He has a custom-made keyboard where all the letters are bugs. He's... kind of peculiar, as far as tortoises go.
(As he types, he says 'sorry' to each and every bug.)
@GraceNote We only have 9 questions tagged with it. Two of which are closed. So I was just wondering if it got overlooked in the great Arqade clean-up.
Just had this conversation at Gamestop: Them: Do you have a rewards card? Me: No. I don't need one. Them: It'll save you money on games! Me: I don't intend to buy any games here. Them: You must hate saving money. Me: No, I like saving money. That's why I don't intend to buy any games here.
@Wipqozn I once had them tell me that I was lucky and should have pre-ordered, because I got the very last copy they had in stock. They then told two different friends that later in the day when they got their copies
The EA Games near me isn't that bad at all, it's actually pretty good. I think they've just been lucky with having non-douchebag managers over the years.
@Sterno Best Buy had 3DS XLs for $179 a few weeks ago. Should have bought one then. Unless you wanted the pink XL, as the sale was only on the red and blue models.
@Wipqozn Do they look like jewelries where all the price tags are strictly on request to the black smoking and white glove wearing gentlemen assisting you in your purchase experience?
@badp I always thought it was weird that they named their series Red vs. Blue considering that pretty much every major FPS uses those two team colors in their team deathmatch modes.
@kalina People will still be circulating the chain mail about MSN Messenger being just about to close because they've ran out of nicknames send this email to 200 more people or your nick is GONE long after that happens.
@Powerlord OK, so not out of the box, but there appear to be third-party plugins for it. Such as this one code.google.com/p/skype4pidgin I've never used plugins that add new services though
I started a new game on TVHM and got to where you meet Roland's spie Mordecai. Then I went to test multiplayer and finished the game with the team I was in, it asked me something like "Do you want to skip all the missions you would do" and I didn't understand it was saying so I just said yes to c...
Like, actually. The entire point of the training was for them to work in a situation they have zero experience in, to improve their ability to work in situations they are not prepared for.
@badp I know the server does, but have you ever noticed those updates aren't applied until after Valve pushes out a server update with the appropriate models and materials?
@Sterno I also like to star things that are mundane in and out of context. I feel like it tricks people into thinking "Well, I just need to see the context." and then when they click the link, it's still boring. IN YOUR FACE!
For the main weapon manufacturers in Borderlands 2, namely Bandit, Dahl, Tediore, Jakobs, Maliwan, and Hyperion, it's easy to tell how they affect weapons. Bandit gives weapons bigger mags, Dahl has it's unique burst fire, Tediore has exploding reloads, Jakobs has a "fire as fast as you want" mo...

I should finish up Hugo's story in Ys Origin tonight. Unfortunately, that means I still have The Claw to do after that in order to get The Real, Ultimate, True ending.
This question is in reference to this particular version, the Sudoku that is available via Xbox Live on WP7. I'm on my way to the "Ultimate" achievement and want to know which gametype and combination of powerups will net the most XP in a single round.
I suspect that "Lightning" mode, combine...
Even if your life project is building a laser to etch your name into the moon.
Although, come to think of it, that would be a very worthy goal.
You'd have to take planetary spin into account, maybe some short light-speed lags, build enough energy to actually fire a laser that far and that strong, etc., etc.
I need to develop an application which is in a way a "casino", there are client, which had money, and multiple game that cost money and / or give money to the client.

I think that I have to have an instance of a main server. this...
@RonanForman I think it would most efficiently fry us at that frequency, but I believe that with the amount of power in the beam, it would still fry us at other frequencies
I don't understand something about Steam for Linux: the first game they mentionned about Steam for Linux was L4D (blogs.valvesoftware.com/linux). But I can't find it in the today's sales (which are dedicated to Linux, precisely...)
