@tiddy So our only record of Socrates's philosophy is through his pupil, Plato, and his dialogues. It's hard to tell whether it's Plato speaking or Socrates speaking, especially in the earlier dialogues, so it's somewhat common in Philosophy circles to refer to whomever is speaking in them as Platocrates or Plato-Socrates.

@James Socrates was independently confirmed to have lived by historians at the time: he was a fairly prominent general during the Persian Wars prior to becoming a philosopher/bum. We just don't know how much bias or spin Plato gave to what he believed or taught.

Everyday on the Tribes Ascend home screen there is a "Deal of the Day", a discounted weapon, perk or skin that has its gold cost discounted by a certain percentage. I have a few questions about how these are generated: What items can be given out as a deal, is it from a list of all items or sim...

You pretty much want to avoid the middle of the country if you don't want to get shot.

I like Canada a lot.

Stick to the coasts.
