FYI - if you have a 3DS you should buy Rhythm Thief and The Emperor's Treasure. It is like Professor Layton and Elite Beat Agents had a baby and that baby is awesome and reallly really fun

Q: Running Skyrim on the mac

@pixel From what I have seen the faction specific take alters slightly the angle of the reason behind the Why... but it does not really change the why or the what of the game (I only have Dragon and Illuminati to test against right now though, it would not let me make a Templar on my server last night)

@James We've closed quite a few of them today; they are NOT going to be happy.

We have standards that we hold the site to and we shouldn't cherrypick when to apply them. Lacking consistency just increases the confusion for new users, which is something that has been brought up recently and is also something we're currently trying to address (and something we should always be keeping in mind, IMO).

my point of view, coming from SO - on SO you get 3 crummy answers in 10 seconds because the first one that is at all close gets the accept. On arQAde you get 1 answer after 2 days and it's high quality. The difference in speed leads to a difference in quality

@tiddy That's not true, as there are many others active on meta who aren't currently here now, and not everyone visits chat or has the time to go through the transcript. Chat is a decent supplement to Meta, but it shouldn't completely replace it. Having these types of things properly documented so people have the time to respond in a non-immediate manner is usually a better way to go about things.

If you do not want to do anything about it, then I don't think it's very helpful use of time to bring it up in chat when you don't intend to follow through on any constructive action.
