Well it's a cheap-on-battery almost-always-available way to get entertainment out of a mobile, especially if you stick to one radio you like that's got the same frequency on the whole width of your commute. Like I do

The actual radio app itself is rather barebones though. It allows you to scrub through and favourite a frequency, but not much else. It doesn't even allow you to add names to them, which is rather stupid
