@gracenote it should be noted that I have seen about a dozen answers that are word for word from the prima guide. I have not once done such a thing. (but now that I think of it, I will downvote them later.)

@LessPop_MoreFizz Like I said, you have self-respect.

@GraceNote He does...?
err I mean yeah, @LessPopMoreFizz totally has self-respect!

12:14 AM
This chat needs more tits:
and ass

You already did that!

/me wonders if I should just delete the donkey and let it stand like that

I think it would be nice if you'd stop doing that manner of visual run.
Especially completely randomly.

Q: Who replaces Tali?

ZenoIn my Mass Effect 2 So in 3 she is apparently a squad member, but of course I don't have her. Who is suppose to replace her in my squad?

Prefer some pussy?

12:19 AM
No, I'd really prefer if you'd stop doing that.

):
Grace Note = Frown Town

12:32 AM
Sigh, even 100 years in the future people are saying "GUI Interface"

Tell you what, you get people to stop saying "RPG Game", and I might help you stop people from saying GUI Interface.

@BenBrocka from what

I've never heard anyone ever say "RPG Game"
@NickT 100 years in the future as in Mass Effect 3

@BenBrocka You are lucky.

What, did you make your char a UX expert?
7th class

12:35 AM
No, it was my genius comm officer
I just hope she made that GUI Interface in Visual Basic

Start a petition, I hear BioWare loves those

gotta track that IP protocol address

@BenBrocka Pffthahahaha

who wants to do a LoL

huh...well...seeing for my self now...that was...an interesting end.

12:38 AM
Xenoblade Chronicles comes out soon. I hear it's a fairly good RPG game.

I will end you three ways to Thursday.

Oh finally, it got through. It kept timing out. Scumbag internet.

Does that TV that you can win have an LCD display?

It's an "LCD HDTV", so I would hope so.

wiff

12:40 AM
If it helps, I never actually bothered to learn what "LCD" stands for.
So I assumed it was "Liquid Crystal Diode"

not quite

liquid diodes? THat'd be a new one on me

sounds like what the lecture I went to today was about
Inwardly rectifying potassium channels (Kir, IRK) are a specific subset of potassium selective ion channels. To date, seven subfamilies have been identified in various mammalian cell types. They are the targets of multiple toxins, and malfunction of the channels has been implicated in several diseases. Overview of inward rectification A channel that is "inwardly-rectifying" is one that passes current (positive charge) more easily in the inward direction (into the cell). It is thought that this current may play an important role in regulating neuronal activity, by helping to establish th...
pretty cool
You put the lime in teh coconut and drink em both up

@ArdaXi You make me proud to have casted that 10th vote.
You're welcome.

1:10 AM
Wow. I'm way behind on total ME3 answers

wow, I really don't like quarians anymore

@Sterno 41 (you) > 27 (me), heh
@BenBrocka Why's that?

certain events

Oh, that's questions and answers. Yeah, I'm doing well on questions.

Oh, right, duh.

1:13 AM
I need to get that 20th one in so that I can get a badge and feel special.

@BenBrocka Ah..saw something that changed your mind?
I'm still a number of up votes short for the bronze, unfortunately. Wonder if I have any existing answers that can be beefed up..

@ktash still need that file?

well I didn't really take sides, but now I see things quite differently

Indeed.

I also see why siding with the Geth is always a Paragon choice...

1:21 AM
where's that weapon spreadsheet?

do I get that geth plasma shotgun at some point?
Shotguns and plasma are two of my favorite ways to kill things

@TimStone yep. thanks

I realize I probably should have asked this before editing like 8 questions today, but

Okay I'm uploading 2 mass effect videos. Have fun! Night.

1:23 AM
@TimStone oh right, I suppose that's one way to confirm it

Is it okay to edit questions just to turn the question titles into actual questions?
Example: Changing "Turn off motion blur" to "How can I turn off motion blur?"

@Sterno this is fine, imho. I also hate it when people start questions with "How to" that don't make grammatical sense
"How to turn off motion blur?"

@Sterno depends, sometimes a question title can be fine without being a question, especially if it makes it considerably more convince

Q: Would the Stack Exchange network be better if titles contained complete, grammatical questions?

Joel SpolskyWe have had quite a few discussions here in the past of whether titles should be phrased as complete questions. For example: Should question titles be phrased as questions? (A straw poll) What's in a Title (line)? How can we get more people to make their title a question? Our guidance is a li...

Yeah, "how to do it" bugs the crap out of me

1:26 AM
(for some opinions and such)

@TimStone I really need to get in the habit of looking there first!

wat. Tali just said something implying we're NOT using translators

@Sterno Asking me is usually faster than searching on Meta anyway. :P

I should probably start buying food again.

@BenBrocka Wait, what's that?

1:28 AM
Tim Stone is basically Legion
@TimStone she says a phrase in Quarian and says "I guess the best way to translate it is..."

Oh, right.

user2334
Tim Stone is forever?

so there's clearly not a translator going on in that case, but maybe TAli simply speaks english
@MarkTrapp pretty much

Well, it's more that it doesn't directly translate, I think.

@BenBrocka That's like the old Star Trek problem where you've got Klingon words for things, even though theoretically the translator would have just translated them.

1:29 AM
I also think he might be 1028 Geth in one shell as well

@BenBrocka Translator is one thing, idioms are another.
Keelah Selai is never translated.

I guess maybe it involves proper nouns

hence, "I suppose the best way to translate it would be"

You'd think the translator would understand the idiom and just translate it then though

@MarkTrapp I prefer timeless, personally.
Speaking of time...I should probably get something done today before it gets too late.

1:34 AM
@BenBrocka There's probably a "do not translate this setting", like how English uses other language phrases anyway

oh hey, I can freeze Geth

Man, are Joel and Jeff always on opposite sides of every controversial meta issue? :P

they really are

@BenBrocka you can chill everything. awesome upgrade in this game

Q: How do I properly disc jump?

BrantOne of the core gameplay elements in the Tribes series is trading health for speed by disc jumping. I seem to be having trouble pulling this off though -- I've tried shooting straight down as I come off a hill, as well as turning around and shooting slightly behind me, but I always end up losing ...

@RavenDreamer That is one of the most awesome things I have seen all day.

@RavenDreamer Fluttershep.

Great. I'm getting @LessPopMoreFizz pony picture stars.

1:52 AM
@RavenDreamer You sir, just got more awesome.
Oh, I see.
Disregard that @RavenDreamer, you scandalous fiend.
@LessPop_MoreFizz You sir, just got more awesome.

@RavenDreamer It doesn't seem to work against anything big, but maybe it will now that I got the 50% freeze chance bonus

@Wipqozn That reminds me, another disturbing aspect: bronies meet up in bars.

@BenBrocka You can chill those, though, and get all the same damage bonuses you get against frozen.

I mean I didn't even see chill effects on them period
