The problem here is that these aren't babies who dropped sippy cups. These are (supposedly fully-functioning) adults who voted for a very specific thing: to leave the EU. This has consequences for both the EU and the UK. These consequences we are seeing today: 40bn lost in two days of stock market, AAA rating lost, RBS stopping their stock trade yesterday because they were losing too much. Other we'll see in the following months. My favourite is the fact that the UK must re-negotiate trade agreements with all EU countries individually.
