Trucks have 4x4 instead of AWD is 'cause:
They're being driven by wild-eyed crazies with more testosterone than cents. Or sense. That fancy-pants AWD (a marketing term that usually means full-time 4WD + ABS-backed traction control) is for cars that don't leave the pavement. On purpose. That kin...

I don't know what to think of this ... whoops, guess you posted it as well.

Well, I took my car to VW for a scheduled DSG (transmission) service. They ended up not having parts they needed, so they put me in a Rental. That was yesterday, expect parts on Friday.
So this morning on my way to work, the "low air" light came on at mile 2 of my 30 mile drive. Great - now I have to get air somewhere...
Then I turned the corner to get out to the highway, and totally felt the rear driver's tire was totally flat.
I would like to talk to the engineers that are deciding on firing order to understand their logic. Ultimately, I believe it's typically associated with exhaust scavenging.
I think that ours did not have nav, but that could be different now. It was exterior trim, different leather not normally available, and maybe more adjustable seats?
It's like the mid-level car, but with a more sporty feel.
They normally get a little resale bump since they are only available every 5 years or so for a particular model.
Based on some resources, I was able generate a list of all theoretical firing orders for an LS engine with a cross-plane crankshaft. Here they are (L,R denote which bank each cylinder in the firing order belongs to):
1-5-4-2-6-8-7-3 LLRRRRLL
1-5-4-3-6-8-7-2 LLRLRRLR
1-5-7-2-6-8-4-3 LLLRRRRL

I don't know much about the inner workings of a car. For driving one, I find that having an rough idea about what the gearbox, engine and clutch do and where they are is often enough.
However for the life of me I can't figure out why the nose of the car lifts up as the clutch becomes half-engage...
i'm having trouble finding color coding for my mercury cougar i found a diagram but shows the stereo constant wire is green and yellow but there is no green and yellow in my cougar stereo harness and also has the cruise control wires tied in to the stereo harness and the cruise constant and switc...
I'm running social experiments on users that have posted answers or questions and are active on other sites but have not been here in months. It's pretty interesting.
I would love to know how many of the folks who post stuff that's written in the worst English ever, are native speakers? I can understand if it's not your native language, but for us that have spoken it our whole lives, I get not being perfect, but at least be clear lol
