@max, interesting pH discussion! A dilute solution is like an ideal gas .... We can make some generalities about both systems that fall apart once things get concentrated.

Liken it to people .... We act normally .... Until we're under a lot of pressure! Same for gases .... At high pressures the ideal gas law doesn't hold well. Because you have gas particles colliding with each other and interacting. And same in solutions ... Concentrated solutions are like high pressure gas systems in that there is a lot of mingling among the particles. This mingling adds a layer of complexity.

@LordStryker There is nothing wrong with physics S.E. site design. It is just that Chem S.E. is better :D

Every two days or so I take a trip to school to take one of the effing end-of-the-term exams... So you get what I've been through.

And some 7 or 8 of them are left.

I wouldn't say wrong, but the heavier isotopes don't really contribute to the atomic mass

Since they're so unstable relative to U-238, their fractional abundance is tiiiiiiny

so I should delete it

change it to another contributor (albeit a tiny one) is the existence of higher mass isotopes of uranium
