@enderland search shows 7 posts with mod notices hanging for quite a while, would you mind taking a look at these? As far as I can tell their authors had a fair chance to address the notices (and one of them even did that)

@Walfrat One of my managers actually had to deal with someone's mother call and berate her because she didn't hire her son.

I'm thinking this should be closed, but not sure of which reason? Advice?

Q: Do you know any recruiting platforms which screen my applicants?

Lisa JonesWe have a number of technical job openings in our firm and it's taking a tremendous amount of time for us to manually screen through all the profiles for a single position. Any suggestions on a recruiting software that can help solve our recruiting problems?

@RichardU Too broad works for me. Other could work too. It's not at all about navigating the workplace. Just because it deals with hiring doesn't make it on topic.
It's more about helping someone DO his job.

@RichardU ahah, really some people aren't living in our world.

@RichardU I actually had that happen but after I fired someone. "How could you? Don't you know he has a car payment? Why can't he get another chance?"
I wanted to tell her what he really did to get fired (went on a bender and didn't show up) but confidentiality.
I after 2 days of no shows I had the police actually go to his house. He was there and wasted. I thought he'd be hurt or heart attack (he was 40's). Nope, fell off the wagon over the thanksgiving holiday.
I liked him and I liked his work. But we were on a time-critical project and I couldn't have that kind of unreliability.
At least he didn't show up so that was the reason I could fire him. Had he actually come in drunk, it would have been much harder.

Q: Is it OK to name and shame?

LumberjackI was going through the edit queue and I found this question from a user who is concerned that he/she is being scammed. Is this foreign job offer via an online agency without any interview legit? Within the edit I was looking at, the user was changing the question to include specifics. The edi...

Strangest interview I ever witnessed. My boss at the time was interviewing in the next cubicle. The guy was getting loud and giving very bizarre answers. Finally, he just suddenly stopped, said that he wouldn't waste any more of her time, and left in the middle of the interview.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was social anxiety. Mine has caused me to leave interviews a couple of times. I was bombing so miserably I just stopped the interview and did what your guy did.
I was sweating so badly my hair was getting wet. Which made my anxiety worse by giving me something new to panic about.

@ChristopherEstep When I was in Jr High, I was so shy that I decided to join the Drama club and act in the plays as a way to overcome it. It worked. When I go on interviews, I go into "performance mode". It works. You may want to try something like that. Not necessarily acting, but something like toastmasters or something similar

I normally do great in interviews because I'm "on" as well. I get it. But once in a while, I flub up and then the facade breaks and it's a domino effect.
