Hi StackApps! Where can I seek help on coding a chat bot?

Actually, to be clear I already figured out most of the bits and bytes and wired everything together, it's the websockets I'm dealing with.

Is there a way to get a specific revision of a chat message? I've tried:

POST http://(domain)/message/(id) - returns HTML, great
POST http://(domain)/messages/(roomId)/(id) - returns markdown, even better

So far it seems that scrapping the HTML from the history page is the only way.

Actually, now that I think about it it should be done with http-GET requests, but eh.

Q: Review queues – bypassing/shunning “honeypot” stuff

Is there a solution against “honeypot” posts in review queues? As far as Ī noticed, there can be rather simple test: although the edit link (/posts/⋯/edit) is present below the “post”, attempt to follow it results in error. Possibly, existence of a post online can be checked simpler via API. Do ...
