Q: recording highlights of codegolf site history

vznthis site is not very old and yet, speaking as mostly an "outsider," clearly has a colorful/ unusual history. it is not a typical site for stackexchange and has many unique aspects, such as demographics like a very dedicated user base, young, and very eager to learn, etc. my suggestion is that s...

@vzn I don't know how successful this conversation will be, but do you understand why someone might regard your comments as patronising? Can you list the reasons?

Lembik, not sure how successfull this will be either. (deja vu all over again...) how else do you want someone to recommend std refs/ bkg to you? not sure how to sugarcoat it for you... your questions so far show no research.
& setting a low bar here! reading a wikipedia article on subj to me constitutes some "research"!
see eg
it is your own attitude that appears nonreceptive to some suggestions so far
heres a well voted scheduling question not so far from yours, with bkg/ refs to literature etc, see eg what "flies better" here

@vzn my point is that I didn't show no research. You just jumped to conclusions.. negative ones in fact. I would be interested to know if you can tell why your comments seem patronising.
@vzn I of course haven't posed a question on cs.se so it's slightly irrelevant to show me examples of questions which are better than mine
@vzn I also never said I hadn't read a wikipedia page
@vzn do other people find you patronising too or am I really the first?
thanks for the link to the question however. It does look interesting although I am not sure it is the same as mine
@vzn did you actually read the question you just linked to? It had no references at all when first posed
it was just a problem description with a picture
