Why is it saying that?

I just added an except: to the error location

okay.

7:25 PM
I don't know why it's excepting at all though

Let me take a look at it:

The only thing that can go wrong on that line is str()

My Idea for the KeyError is that the bot is getting unicode

so one of amount or Points[user] can't be converted

And strings are different from unicode strings

7:27 PM
where's it coming from though?
Ah, no, I've got it

What's the issue?

Points[user] is undefined because the points are saved to Points[user.lower()]

So is it not returning anything?
If it transfers, it doesn't return.
Did you push it to git?

Not what I have currently, no

7:35 PM
Can you do that? I think I might know the issue in this

Pushed

Found the issue

Que?

if not is_admin:
if Points[user.lower()] + amount < 0:
return False

Push your changes

7:36 PM
That's in change_points

Yeah

And this is in give points
result = change_points(user, amount)
return result
So if it returns False, it doesn't output anything

OK, fixing

And change_points will always be False, so that code block always executes
