@Ghost IMHO there's no need to delete it. You are factually right and the answer is relevant. It just seems that people don't agree so much with it. I didn't comment on it, but my problem with it is that most journals don't have so detailed guidelines that would mention this.

Q: which is more required biostatistics or operational research?

I'd like to have an advice on which course is more valuable and more needed in practical life. Is it the biostatistics or operational research? note that: I've already taken introduction to operational research and the one I am asking about will mainly tackle nonlinear programming?
