and auto-freezes happen as a batch check

@damryfbfnetsi personally, I'm a fan of the reduced close vote requirements for downvoted questions idea

I think aging out is important, but I think the barrier should be lower if the question is generally negatively recieved

it didn't get much traction for normal sites, but might work well on Area 51

the problem would be in balancing the length

that's why I think having a negative score also matters

@AJHenderson Before normal voting and closing, there were on-topic votes and off-topic votes

5 off-topic votes would be enough for it to not count, and you now see questions closed as a result of migration of off-topic votes to close votes

@damryfbfnetsi interesting, I think that might be from before my time on Area 51

I personally don't check Area 51 all that often

Oh, and there were also the on-topic but off-topic questions (subjective, broad, unclear, and the like)
