Nice guy, I've met him and seen him give a talk. He is in the small group who managed to live on a fraction of his income and retire very early. As with anyone you read, use the bits that make sense for you. His extreme frugality isn't for everyone, but nothing wrong with his approach, I'd say good advice. On a good day, I actually have a better mustache.
