Hi everyone! For those of you in other parts of the world, I'm a day late, but for anyone where it's still March 20, Happy World Sparrow Day. :))

@Liam Gee, thanks! I appreciate the support! @Aravona, great trail question. There's lots of learning for people like me. It's hard to figure out how to ask questions that rely mostly on people's experience, but we do that a lot here. I want to ask one about learning horse trail riding (which you'd probably answer!) but have to work on the wording. I had a horse as a teen who I adored. I rode English, often bareback, and my pony would stand still while I ran up from behind and jumped on!
Yes, I know we should never go near the back end of a horse - he was just an unusual guy.
Speaking of horses, I loved that question about horseshoes, as did lots of other people!
I have SAD too, glad you're feeling better! We still have some snow, but the days are lighter longer and our first chipmunks are emerging from their underground winter activities, so I'm starting to feel better too.
@StrongBad My son-in-law makes all beef and turkey jerky in a long, slow, oven process. Hubby likes it better than I do, but I like that it's all natural. Good luck making some!
Hi to @OddDeer, @ab2, @anonymous2, @wills, @CharlieBrumbaugh, @WedaPashi, @anderas, @RoryAlsop and anyone else I left out! Hope you're all well and safe!

@Sue I am. Hi.

@Sue Last Tuesday's snow is almost all melted. The daffodils that were up and blooming were laid flat by the snow, and are lying down and blooming. I partially propped them up. The forsythia is about past., Insecticide for Wooly Adelgid goes down tomorrow.

@Sue According to the latest Economist, spiders eat an amount of animal food (mostly insects) every year equal in mass to the total mass of human beings.

@Sue Haha I did the same with my smallest. My Welsh section C (Billy) I would give him bum hugs or walk under his belly rather than go around!
Horses aren't as mad as everyone thinks... At least not all the time!
Definitely ask the question, it's not so hard but when I did it in Florida it was different to Hacking (UK term for riding a horse on public land rather than a stables/yards school or fields)

@Sue We have lots of sparrows in our back garden!
