I went to Meta and discovered I can't ask a question without x amount of reputation. My Meta question was: Is it acceptable to post a question on Meta regarding a question you'd like to post on Beta? Not the actual question, obviously, but guidance. I'd rather ask here anyway. I feel like I'm walking on egg-shells asking questions everywhere else on SE. Even among communities I'm experienced.
