I had a feeling I was going to regret saying "tomorrow"...Sometime this week though, I think...? Two or three questions, and maybe a meta-question. I'm wondering if scrutinizing specific published articles for problems in general is on-topic enough. I've seen a few such questions both here and on Cross Validated that turn into that, but I wonder if there's a slippery slope to worry about there. Seems harmless as long as there's some focal problem highlighted in the question, but...it's unusual.
