@MikeHoneychurch Thank you for confirmation :)

3D colour print of the object in the chat earlier, I think it turned out reasonably well...

Of course 3D printing a sphere feels a bit dumb, but it's the patterning... sadly it seems that one couldn't really print very sharp details with it, but illustration pieces would be possible nonetheless.
Just hoping nobody in the office would come to look at my 3D print mini-Kunstkammer and think it's a superball... :)

@kirma Does it have to be sharp in this case? I think the fuzziness adds a bit of charm.

@J.M. They (Shapeways) said that the practical resolution of colour is around 50 dpi (or maybe more like lpi), and that's indeed the case. Smallest Voronoi cell boundaries in above ball wouldn't be clearly visible on 2 cm version, but are OK with 3 cm version, that I calculated in advance for sizing the product. Since cost on non-hollow object rises by the diameter cubed, that causes objects to be more expensive than what might be otherwise possible.
Fuzziness isn't really that bad when you take into account that the sphere on above image is really only 3 cm in diameter.
But there's a clear difference in sharpness when you compare it with what you can do with cast metal parts.

For the last few days, we’ve been discussing Wolfram Programming Lab and how it is a tool for those teachers looking to incorporate coding into their computational classrooms. Today is the last day of the series, and I’m going to talk about the experiences I’ve had with Programming Lab. What I’ve seen from numerous workshops [...]

@Murta Hi Rodrigo! I am ok, could be better, could be worse :). As to Groovy, I've only heard of it, but never tried. But frankly, if I had the time, I'd learn other languages, with the emphasis on performance, and proper support for functional programming. That would probably mean ML - family, Haskell and / or Clojure at the top of the list. I feel that Mathematica, R, Python and js fully satisfy my thirst for dynamic untyped languages.
@Murta I'd probably make an exception for Smalltalk though - this one I'd really like to learn. And would also add Scala to the previous list. Pipe dreams :)

If I am working on microsoft word and the system restarts then when I reopen MS word , it asks me if I want to recover the unsaved work or not..is there a way to have similar feature in MMA?

Sometimes I think there's a upvote gremlin that goes around upvoting questions regardless of whether they are on-topic or not...
