@RolfMertig Working on this one.

Hello. Please help me this question. I want to sort the expression
1 + 6 x + 8 x^2 - 38 y - 10 x y + 9 y^2==0
in the form
8 x^2 + 9 y^2 - 10 x y + 6 x - 38 y +1 ==0
But I cann't. How can I sort it?

@minthao_2011 What you want to do does not follow any usual monomial ordering:
poly = 1 + 6 x + 8 x^2 - 38 y - 10 x y + 9 y^2;
(MonomialList[poly, {y, x}, #] /.
     List[arg__] :> HoldForm[Plus[arg]]) & /@ {"Lexicographic",
   "DegreeLexicographic", "DegreeReverseLexicographic",
   "NegativeLexicographic", "NegativeDegreeLexicographic",
   "NegativeDegreeReverseLexicographic"} // Column

"NaiveSchoolboyLexicographic" I would write my polynomials much like @minthao_2011 when in school

@Manuel--Moe--G Me probably too I guess.

I tried "NaiveSchoolboyLexicographic", but it can not sort.
I used Maple, with command
restart:
> poly := 1 + 6* x + 8 *x^2 - 38 *y - 10 *x* y + 9* y^2:
> sort(poly);
I only got
8*x^2-10*x*y+9*y^2+6*x-38*y+1
