@Szabolcs DynamicLocation at work: mathematica.stackexchange.com/a/140098/5478 thanks.

@Kuba there are other ways to call for attention ;-)

@P.Fonseca which action are you referring to exactly? :)

the fact that half of first page of the main site has you as last editor...
(but it is indeed a good tag...)

@P.Fonseca you gotta tag what you gotta tag :)

Why $ParentProcessID gives 0 on Windows?

hi
i nned help
I joined the Mathematica several minutes ago, because I thought it is a forum for asking help about maths, but I found out it wasn't. How can I quit my connection from this forum?

Am I getting confused on locations? When I use SystemOpen @ $UserBaseDirectory then I get to C:\Users\Hugh\AppData\Roaming\Mathematica. However, when I look for MenuSetup.tr This is within ProgramFiles... Reading the code you linked to I thought took you to UserBaseDirectory.

3:09 PM
@MichaelHale That's cool!

3:20 PM
@xslittlegrass Thanks. Can you try it in cloud? It works in desktop for me. It wasn't working in cloud at all a bit ago. Now it seems to time out when I'm not logged in but maybe work when I am logged in.

@MichaelHale It times out for me too in the cloud.
I'm wondering how does the copyright go? Do you need to acquire rights from game publisher to use the cover image?

@xslittlegrass When signed in too? The simple example is working now for me when signed in, but I don't know if that's because something propagated globally or if something got cached just for my account.
@xslittlegrass Maybe depends on how you're using it. The IGDB API does say you can use their content commercially. igdb.com/api
I wrote that in the documentation notebook, but that info was stripped. Just the examples were left.

@MichaelHale It works when signed it!

Ah cool. Thanks.

@MichaelHale How long does it take to publish?

3:35 PM
@halirutan thanks

@xslittlegrass It took over a week this time, but I needed to get a publisher ID. Then they sent me a suggestion to convert the release regions from strings to entities.

@C.E. Interesting. I tagged it as culture, but I don't see it either.

@rhermans As you know,I suffer a policy,those http:// will invaid anymore,like this

@MichaelHale Right, I found it now by searching and saw the categories it was tagged with. Then I started looking at the categories, but it doesn't seem to be there.

@MichaelHale They need to fix that of course. And it would also be nice if they had an RSS or something with new data sets so that one could monitor it.
@MichaelHale But I think what you uploaded is a great example of how this could be useful. Very nice.

Are you willing to implement a method to help those people suffered same problem to overcome it?
And any user in MMA.SE can give some help?
If I use the method from Mr.Wizard here to update those post one by one manully.It is very slow,and I always meet such question

4:15 PM
The lead to me have to retry this process many many time for just upload one image.

4:25 PM
@yode @yode, I'm a bit confused here and don't understand the context of why I was summoned to this discussion. I gather you are concerned with a mandatory HTTPS policy that would imply re-uploading all imgur figures. Is that correct? I have not read the details of that, but it seems that provided we have access to API for both Stack Exchange and imgur , this process could be automated. Where can I see examples of obsolete links displaying errors? What is that you ask from me?

4:42 PM
@rhermans Oh,sorry,I just admire your this masterpiece.

@yode Can I help you anyhow? I still can't find an example of the problem.

I don't sure they need a same technology?
For example about my this post
I don't sure they need a same technology with your GetQuestionPlain here?
And you can search my such post by those keyword (http:// user:21532) like this

5:00 PM
@yode I see, let me have a look.

@Hugh original MenuSetup.tr is in ProgramFiles, somewhere in $InstallationDirectory. The code in the question I've linked is copying this file to analogous directory in $UserBaseDirectory (and creates it if needed). Then it opens the file from $UserBaseDirectory to not mess with $InstallationDirectory.

9:38 PM
@Kuba Now I understand. I did not read the code properly. I will have a go. Many thanks.

Q: Why doesn't Mathematica plot negative values in LogPlot?

Henry WangIt seems very strange to me, is there a specific reason for it?

@yode I know how to search for the post using the SE API, I have shared already code to download the markdown version of the post, from where we can get the URL, to download the picture. We could upload the picture using SEToolsSEUploaderPrivatestackImage[img]`and the replace the offending URL with the new URL. So far so good. Now the uploading of the new version of the post is the tricky part as that needs a registration Key for the API and authentication.
It can be done, but somebody needs to register an APP, get the key and figure out the details for authentication. I haven't done that, yet.
