Aw… back to using the Gedanken edition…

If anyone knows a good algorithm to get all/some eigenvalues of a non-symmentric tridiagonal matrix, ping me up, will be appreciated :) (I have started googling 5 mins ago so lots of stuff to check out yet)

@Mr.Wizard I don't really know how it works. I don't think I can use it since "you never know what to expect" is not an option. I don't mind that this feature is not available since I agree there are not so many folks waiting for it. (or maybe noone is waiting for it and advanced stylesheets setups are used rarely because stylesheet system is cumbersome and limited?)

@Mr.Wizard Anyway, FormatType doesn't seem to be related. I don't have any reference to Core/Core-based stylesheet so why? Moreover If my second reference consists only of StyleData["Notebook", Background->...] it is NOT taken into account either.

@Mr.Wizard So I just have to abuse specific needs of my setup, create multiple stylesheets for each available combination of parameters and go on. I hate this...

Yep, it allways does something in background

maybe it's only a matter of adjusting some options

but I didn't have time to test / adjust them, I had to have working ide :P

@JacobAkkerboom I think so, can't say much but as you can see I'm exploring(?) limitations of MMA's features like scalable/flexible stylesheet systems.

@JacobAkkerboom the problem is that at the end I have to have a solution even if MMA is not allowing me to do this in nice modern way
