Just for reference, America's expensive bikes have presta and our cheap bike bikes have Schrader. I've yet to see anything else IRL

I have that problem with presta on my "Universal" head. It sits on the larger Schraders fine, but wobbles a bit and leaks slightly on Prestas. My trail/road/bike pumps are all thread on though, so work fine. Only my floor pump sucks.

Clearly the solution is sticking with thread-on floor pumps....
