@EliahKagan I added your comment to the remote source and submitted a pull request.

@Seth Great, thx!

I almost added "Thanks" on the end, but I thought that would make it too long.
it was already reeeally long compared to the others.

@Seth To the end of the comment? Even for a new user where "Welcome to Ask Ubuntu!" appears, there are still 50 characters left.
It is long though--it has more links than a pro-forma comment usually does.

hmm, maybe I will add it then.

@Seth Sounds fine to me. Many (though not all) of the others have it.

I've added it to many of mine.

@Seth If there are other changes to the pro-forma comments worth making (they should not be forced, of course), then it might make sense to submit another change to the git repository.

yeah, I don't think that one thing is worth an edit alone.
If I find something else I'll do it.

Hi
Can someone please migrate this question to superuser?
http://askubuntu.com/questions/249307/how-to-prepare-hdd-for-windows-8-install
Clearly the problem has nothing to do with ubuntu

@GerhardBurger I'm no so sure
BTW, Welcome to 2k land :)

@GerhardBurger Questions are closed before they are migrated. So if you believe it's off-topic, you should flag it for closure. If you think faster action is warranted, you can also custom flag it and request it be closed and migrated.

I think this deserves some more upvotes if people have any.

@EliahKagan oke thanks! will do
@Seth thanks!
@Seth It is a very nice solution, and I would award an upvote for good thinking but it is not as user friendly as caffeine ;)

9:23 PM
@GerhardBurger That doesn't make it any less of an awesome answer and good solution does it?
@GerhardBurger your welcome :)

10:01 PM
@Seth No, I agree that it is an awesome answer in the geeky sense, but maybe not so awesome from the everyday user point of view... Reminded me of this xkcd comic :P xkcd.com/619

Q: I get stuck in the instalation steps

PedroI have a burned CD. I can try ubuntu and everything works as normal, which means I can access to the internet - as right now - but when I start the instalation it just gets stuck on each step. I manage to go until step 5. I have waited really long time (hours) until it passed from the 4 to the 5 ...

Q: Adding commands to the Exec line in desktop files

RomanHey so recently I got Bastion to work using force_s3tc_enable=true before executing the bin file, my question is how can I add this line to the Bastion.desktop file so that it works through the Unity shortcut?
