@Seth If there are other changes to the pro-forma comments worth making (they should not be forced, of course), then it might make sense to submit another change to the git repository.
OP reported in Revision 2 of the question that the following action worked for him:
Use synaptic-package-manager
Mark the driver for re-installation
Re-install the driver
Reboot

Hey so recently I got Bastion to work using force_s3tc_enable=true before executing the bin file, my question is how can I add this line to the Bastion.desktop file so that it works through the Unity shortcut?
