@EliahKagan Okay, comment deleted. I will try to look at the answers better next I go through the old questions.

@iSeth I don't think you have to do anything differently. That one was a hard call and I'm not even sure I'm right. More importantly, I see most of your flags in the 10k user flag queue. If I don't say something, that virtually always means I agree and (if I have close votes) have voted to close. As far as I can see, your error rate is very, very low. (I think I incorrectly vote to close more often.)

OK Thanks :)
@EliahKagan So, you can see my 'too-localized' flags in the queue?
if so then that explains why my flags get marked 'helpful' though the question isn't closed.

@iSeth When I'm at my computer, I probably see most of them. They leave the queue when they're handled, but as long as they're in the queue I can see them. Actually, they appear in the flag queue and often also in the close queue, so with both of those, I'm likely to see many of them (assuming I'm at my computer and on AU).

Okay, that makes me feel better
I guess I'll go get some more then.

2:50 AM
@iSeth Well that's not just me. Multiple 10k users have the opportunity to review the same post. And some may be marked helpful solely through the action of a moderator, even if nobody reviewed it in the 10k flag queue. Anyway, close flags are responded to positively by voting to close. I often see good flags in the queue that I have to ignore until the next day because I'm out of close votes. For those, they're considered helpful because of the actions of other 10k users and/or mods.
@iSeth Sounds good!

Unrelated: I'm unsure if this should be considered an answer:

@EliahKagan I think the point @iSeth is trying to make is that he has some flags that were tagged helpful, but the questions remain open, without any indication of anything.

Need two votes here on my answer.

A: How to get lock screen option in Lubuntu?

Good Time TribeThe correct answer on the program for locking in LXDE/Lubuntu is "lxlock". I can't find a lot of info on it, but it seems to be included in the lxsession package. https://github.com/eshizhan/lxsession/blob/master/lxlock

2:55 AM
@EliahKagan Assuming lxlock handles the lock screen, this does answer the question insofar as it allows doing it via command-line.
I gotta agree that it is more of a comment and doesn't get into enough detail, though.

@EliahKagan thanks

@EliahKagan I understand. I was confused because my flags were marked 'helpful' and the question wasn't closed. I now understand its the 10k users.

@iSeth No problem! Remember that some of this is subjective though, and I may sometimes be wrong ...especially if I use words like "I think" or "I'm not sure if..." in the comments. :)
I'm trying to figure out if this question should be migrated from Stack Overflow to Ask Ubuntu. It seems hardly on topic for Stack Overflow and was probably only kept open because there it had answers and there was no AU back then. It's a good question (always important for migration). On the other hand, it's super old and it might not do anybody any good here at this point.

Close as too localized.
This guy will just not accept reality (typical of him).

@RolandiXor tend to disagree and the user is still interested on an answer. dont close it

From the description of being too localized, we should close it.
If the question can be answered with "not possible" and the owner of the question is unwilling to stop seeking for an answer - I fail to see how it will lead to a useful situation for future visitors.
Anyway, I rest my case.

@RolandiXor we are closing them as abandoned and using too localized as an option for that, if the user is still around and wants to have it open we have no choice but to let him have his way.

That's for the cleanup thing.
I'm referring to a general situation.
Since he's still around this is a general issue.

It seems we were wrong to close this. On second look, it seems like a separate, not too localized problem with a perfectly good solution that will help others. I recommend we reopen this, and then make that question a duplicate of this. Otherwise, people searching with this issue will be very confused when they get here and might not get an answer.
