Question for any diamond-bearing-user...in March 2015, the tools page (tab alongside "review") kept track of close-votes, reopen votes, delete-votes, un-delete votes and the posts to which those votes aimed... When were close and reopen removed/not tracked? More importantly: Why? Was this a network-wide change? If not, who decided to remove access the full menu of moderation tools?
I didn't at all intend to be, nor do I feel, confrontational (above) And I didn't actually take note of the change to that page until a month ago...
@amWhy not a diamond-bearer here, but FWIW I am not aware of major change to this. There is and was this page math.stackexchange.com/tools?tab=close What functionality do you recall that is not present there anymore?
@quid Along with "delete", "undelete" with counts, there was also the same feature for "close" and "reopen"...As I said in my comment above, this would have been at least until early 2015...and there were a lot of open/close/reopen/close wars and ditto for delete and undelete.
Yes...that very page also listed (with links) the questions for which there were votes to close, how many, and ditto for reopen...and it included "recently closed" recently unclosed. It was on the tools page.
Ahh...I see, but at one point they were all on the same page! But, alas, you have been a good MSE-Mod-substitute to point me to the present functionality... Thank you! (The MSE mods should be paying you for your services :-)
@amWhy You are welcome! It's very possible the interface changed. The mods here are very generous towards me. They give me twice the money they get from SE each month. ;-)
@quid Now I'm beginning to doubt my memory from 18 months ago...I vividly remember the close, reopen, recently closed, recently opened layout...but perhaps forgot the two separate tabs: one for delete etc, the other for close, etc. I'm still cleaning cobwebs in my brain which were formed over a year + hiatus from this site :-)
