@Lord_Farin: Nice suggestion. By the way, I didn't know that nobody can know that I flagged the comment as rude. Can you tell me if I flag a comment as rude who else except the moderators can know that the comment was flagged?

@user170039 thank you for this information. So the purpose of your intervention here is to challenge the decision on a flag? I'd rather you have been clear on that instead of making speculations about downvoters. To answer your question to @Lord_Farin: no one (if mod includes per site and SE staff).

@quid: If that had been my purpose then I would have explicitly said so. Regarding the third statement of your comment, I don't think I could be anymore clear beyond my initial speculations because downvotes are given anonymously and saying any specific name would be illogical simply because I have no evidence to support that. But I simply don't understand, why are you more concerned about this? How is it relevant anyway?

If "comment" means "flag."

Otherwise I do not know what you mean.

@quid Moderators can see who of them handled a particular flag? I as a user cannot see who handled my flag, just whether it was helpful or declined, right?

Of course, sometimes it is possible to guess who handled a flag - for example if one of a moderator left a comment, or discussed a flag with me in chat, or if a questions was merged after I flagged it for merging, then the mod who merged the questions is probably the same mod who handled the flag.

@user170039 if you by know came to the conclusion it was not a good idea to bring up the downvote, I recommend you retract it explicitly.

To add to the above, and to be more precise, it is in principle possible that a flag is marked in away without explicit moderator intervention. But not for a declined comment flag, I am pretty sure.
